Place two bullwheels, add posts along the route, and string the haul rope. Power either terminal with Create to drive the whole line.
Build a line
Make it yours.
Build above a Gondola Base with any blocks you like. Add full panels or thin panes, wraparound windows, benches, and a roof. Seats and storage travel with you.
Pull in.
Step aboard.
Slow down to board.
Cabins ease to 25% speed around each bullwheel.
Doors open at the platform.
A Station Platform Edge opens the sliding doors. Leaving closes them.
Keep the line moving.
Gondolas circulate on both strands, keeping extra space for wider cabins.

Read the field guideWhat do I need to play?
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1.219 or newer, and Create 6.0.10 (below 6.1). Install Cable Cars on both the server and every client. It is built against the versions in All the Mods 10 8.4.
Can I build my own cabin?
Yes. Start with a floor of Gondola Base blocks, then build with any blocks you like. Build a hanger beneath the rope. A Cable Grip aligns with nearby rope; a cabin without one gets a steel rod and clamp automatically. Everything connected above the floor assembles into a moving Create contraption. Seats, storage, super glue, and actors work too.
Can the cable turn corners and climb hills?
Yes. Put Cable Posts on your towers and click them in order with Haul Rope between the two bullwheels. Neighbouring supports can be up to 256 blocks apart by default, and a post can turn the line up to 150°. Leave straight rope on each side of a bend.
Does it work in multiplayer and modpacks?
Yes. Install the same version on the server and all clients. Recipes use common c: tags, items appear in JEI, and the mod follows Create’s stress and contraption systems. English and German translations are included.
Are chairlifts or mid-line stations included?
This version focuses on gondola lifts between two terminal bullwheels. Chairlifts, mid-line stopping stations, bicable and tricable lines, and Ponder scenes are not included.
